Do not omit a visit to the Olympic Athletic Center “Spiros Louis” at Marousi. Prefer public transportations, get off at the metro station (1st Line) Eirini or Neratziotissa and you will see in front of you the place which hosted the largest part of the Olympic Games in 2004. Regarding the aesthetics, intense is the involvement of the Spanish architect Santiago Kalatrava, who was responsible for the impressive new roof of the Stadium. The Stadium includes the central Olympic Stadium, the Olympic Indoor Sports Centre, the Olympic Aquatic Centre, the Olympic Tennis Centre, the Velodrome and the surrounding area with the Agora, the Roman Corner, the Eastern Section and the Wall of Nations.
