Mets Mets Mets Mets Mets Mets Mets
Ilissos, the French-Prussian war of 1870 and illicit sex encounters all come together at the small neighborhood at the foothills of Ardetus. The history of Mets starts with the foundation, the inhabitable area around the river, the beer house of Karolos Fix after the victory of the Prussians in the French city of Mets. For years here was the meeting place of illicit lovers while at the same time the area attracts intellectuals and artists. The beautiful preserved buildings, the grove, the stairs and the amphitheatric view of Athens make Mets one of the most beautiful neighborhoods.
