At the Archaeological Museum of Salamis unfolds the rich history of the island from the Neolithic Period to Late Antiquity through unique findings that come from excavations or were found by civilians. The most impressive are the exhibits from the Cave of Euripides, which was the retreat of great tragedian, like the marble female statuette the predecessor of the Cycladic ones and a vase that has an inscription with the name of Euripides. The museum is housed at the old Elementary school.
