The poet and the one who inspired the Delphic Festival spent a large part of the last years of his life with his second wife Anna at the house in Salamina. At the beach of the monastery Faneromeni, next to the sea, stands a small white house with a tree in the yard. According to his wife’s wish, the house functions as a museum with the poet’s personal items, furniture and relics from his life on the island.
