Aiolou starts from the Tower of the Winds, east of the Roman Agora and ends at Omonoia square. It was here that the first restaurant opened in 1830, the first theatre in 1835, while the first celebration of the 25th of March was carried out in 1838. Since then it has hotels, stores and restaurants and the area is a mosaic of bars, cafes, temples, archaeological findings and various stores.
