The most important and largest art gallery in Greece was founded in 1900 and is located at the centre of Athens, opposite the Hilton hotel and just a few meters from the Evangelismos Metro station. It has approximately 20,000 art works, paintings, sculptures and engravings, that cover the Greek and European art creation from the post-Byzantine period to modern times. Due to expansion works part of its collection is exhibited temporarily at the areas of National Glyptotheque, at the area of Goudi.

Missinformation
You well mention in the info sector the fact that the exhibition is exhibited elsewhere (for how many years does temporary count I wonder). But on the map you pinpoint the location of the original building. Tourists that do not know where lies Goudi, are misinformed from the stupidity of Greeks once more. Thus they end up at the Evangelismos Metro Station, the War Museum and the Byzantine Museum asking where is the exhibition, leaving surprised because in ALL the touristic maps the location of the Pinakothek appears to be the closed building... Shame.
