Villa Kazouli is an impressive building with an eerie history and turbulent history. It was erected in 1910 on 214 Kifissias Avenue as the holiday residence of Nikolaos Kazoulis from Egypt. The building occupies an area of 2,500 m2 and during the German occupation it was used as a Gestapo headquarters and an area of torture. After numerous uses it was finally bought from the state and was declared a preserved monument.
