Presidential Mansion Presidential Mansion Presidential Mansion
Heading down Herodou Attikou street we encounter the Presidential Mansion. The three-storied neoclassical building of the 19th century, it was constructed as the palace of the then successor to the throne, Constantine, according to plans of the architect Ernst Ziller. After the establishment of democracy (1974) it was used as the seat of the President of Democracy. Some Sundays its impressive gardens are open to the public.
