Port of Piraeus
The first port of the country and one of the largest in the Mediterranean is an important centre of transportation since it serves approximately 19 million passengers a year. The four terminal stations carry out cargo transportations and receive vehicles, merchandise and passengers with increased traffic in the summer. It connects Piraeus with most of the country’s islands, and with important ports all over the world. The Piraeus port is accessible with the metro, the proastikos and buses.
