Statue of king Constantine on a horse at the central entrance of Pedio tou Areos. The sculpture reaches 6 meters high and is made of bronze. It depicts Constantine as commander of the army. It’s a realistic depiction to create the sensation that he is close to the people. It was constructed in 1938 by the Italian sculptor Francesco Parisi.
