A the Metro station of Evangelismos, line 3 Agia Marina-Airport at the basement area there is a permanent antiquities exhibition from the excavations that were carried out during its construction and revealed an ancient cemetery with a yard, street with successive layers and a part of the city’s aqueduct of Peisistratus which was constructed in the 6th century BC. This permanent underground archaeological exhibition constitutes a small museum with which the passengers sees when he gets one and off the subway.
