The Cartoon Museum operates since 1994 at Liossion street. It is housed at Villa Treiber, a residence of the German philhellene who came to Athens for the Greek revolution of 1821 and remained here. The museum presents the Permanent Cartoon Exhibition with works from the 19th century to the present day. It also hosts temporary exhibitions. It has a library and an archive. Among the treasures of the museum is the comic by K. Grammatopoulos “Perseus and Andromeda” on a script by Vassilis Rotas.
