The Museum of Cycladic Art is located in Kolonaki and hosts the largest collection of exhibits of ancient cultures in the Aegean and Cyprus, putting great emphasis on the Cycladic art of the third millennium BC. It was founded in 1986 to house the private collection of Nikolaos and Dolly Goulandris and today it is a living cultural centre in the heart of Athens, since the exhibitions of ancient and contemporary art it organizes attract hundreds of visitors of all ages. There is a beautiful café and a museum shop at the area.
