Church of Agios Konstantinos

Church of Agios Konstantinos Church of Agios Konstantinos Church of Agios Konstantinos
One of the most magnificent churches in the centre of Athens, located at the street with the same name, opposite the National Theatre. Its construction, according to the plans of the architect Lysandros Kaftanzoglou, was an initiative of the Municipality of Athens in 1869, in honor of the birth of the successor to the throne. It is a three-aisled basilica with an impressive façade, with neoclassic and renaissance elements.
