Among the tall buildings, next to the Archdiocese of Athens, is the small picturesque church of Agia Irene, known, due to its size, as “Rinaki” or “Agia Rinoula”.

With dimensions just 6 x 6 meters, it seems that it has been constructed at the area of a bath from the Roman period and over an earlier Christian church. The church has been granted together with the adjacent building since 2002 to the Archdiocese.
