Epitaph in Plaka

Epitaph in Plaka Epitaph in Plaka
If you find yourself in Athens during the Easter period the ideal place to spend the Good Week and the Epitaph is Plaka. At the Metochi of the Holy Sepulchre at Anafiotika like the church of Agia Aikaterini, the ritual and the Acropolis in the background create a rather touching environment. The other churches of Plaka are equally impressive. The Epitaph procession takes place at the alleys with a choir and ends in Syntagma where there is a common prayer of all the churches of the centre.
