The beautiful Italian scene of the theatre, which is one of the few surviving baroque examples, the central hall shaped as a horse shoe with 23 impressive galleries and the rich, elaborate decoration is equally impressive as the productions that have been hosted by the Municipal Theatre of Piraeus. Since its foundation in 1895 until the present days its interrupted its operation occasionally due to repairs.
